Come be inspired by an innovative practice and unlock your creative potential. Harness your energy as you join your fellow theatre peeps and learn from each other. Learn to make brave and bold theatre that is physically dynamic led solely by your curiosity. Collaborate with the desire to improve and tell your story in a voice that is not always heard. This creative approach, inspired by the work of Frantic Assembly, will support and influence your theatre-making practice. Embrace a new creative process that will also open up actors, designers and directors to new techniques.Stand to trust your honest work; relish in: precision, economy of movement and relax as you have fun, with focus and with no apologies for your work. Techniques include: sequence of moves, breathe and gaze, volume and speed, sound/music, the physical performance space, and finally the Entrance and Exit. Embrace randomness, your first idea and catch yourself off guard as you ‘get rid’ of the performance critic. Live in the creative chaos! [hands, legs etc. workshop!]
Water Bottles, Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in, soft soled shoes (indoor runners), pen and paper, open mind!
